You are bidding on great little machine, ThinkPad X61s, MAKE NO MISTAKE this is a FULL FETURE ROBUST machine in a miniature size,  capable of running anything and everything you can throw at it. This machine is configured with the Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo  ( Centrino 2Duo)  clocked at 1.6GHz, 3 GB of RAM, 80 GB HDD,  DVD-RW Multi drive capable of reading and writing anything and everything including DUAL LAYER DVD ( the only thing will not do is Blue Ray) ,  the drive is on the  DOCKING STATION that is also included,  the machine also comes with  WIFI, Blue Tooth,built in Wireless Internet Capabilities ( it needs to activate service off course),  fingerprint Reader,  PCMCIA  and SD card Reader, the works. This machine  was created to cater to executives and it was about 3 grand when it came out,  is still today a great machine. This  machine  also coms with Windows 7  installed.  Now the BAD. On the left hand side  the ventilation seem to have gotten snagged on something for it is missing some bars form the plastic grill frame as shown on the  picture, this  DOES NOT HINDER THE PERFORMANCE OF THE MACHINE  in any way,  also it seem to be missing the cover door for the PC car slot. ( not sure if it came with one?)  and finally  there is a pixel that seem to come and go at the 7 o'clock position, is only one pixel, generally is only visible if you have a dark screen up. This machine will be excellent for anybody  who needs to be on the move and have a full featured powerful lap top at all times, i you are a gamer, the screen size will not be on your favor. HP G72-250US Notebook PC, prism design, silver. 

I JUST got this and cut the UPS # off for a $50 mail in rebate, but now I want a MAC.  I found out I CAN'T return it because I cut that piece of the box off!  Seriously? But whatever.

I got all the information from the Hp website (I'm not into all the tech stuff)  It is listed on that web site for $779.  So instead of putting ALL that mumbo jumbo stuff in here I figure if you know what you're looking for the name and model are enough. 

It is sealed in the box. I opened the box and looked at it but put it right back in as I had really already decided on the Mac.............oh well.

I got 2 of these from my company i work for and this one shows 2 drives (dvd and a cd drive) in my computer but does not read any disk? Everything else works perfect. I do not know anything about computers so i can't answer question about the problem there for this laptop is sold as-is.
